About Linda Goldsmith

I have spent over 20 years empowering women and girls at every stage of life. I am a certified Birth Doula, a Girl Scout Leader of 13 years, and the founder of Pregnancy Sanctuary, a spa created to support and pamper pregnant women. Teaching mother-daughter puberty workshops is where all of that experience comes together.

I created Our Changing Bodies because I believe every girl deserves to learn about her changing body from a trusted source, surrounded by her friends and her mom. When girls learn together, something shifts. The awkwardness fades, the questions come naturally, and they leave feeling ready instead of afraid.

Once girls realize that every one of them goes through these changes, they relax and open up so beautifully. I see them as blooming sunflowers in rich soil. In just five or six years they grow tall, sturdy, and bright, reaching toward the sun. My passion for this work is authentic, and it shows in every workshop.

What I Believe

Connection first

This workshop isn't just about information. It's about deepening the bond between a mother and her daughter, and continuing a conversation you may have already started with her about puberty.

Openness matters

Puberty doesn't have to be awkward. When it's approached with warmth, honesty, and sprinkled with a little humor, it becomes a milestone instead of a mystery.

For every girl

Whether she's in 4th grade or 5th, a little younger (earlier developer) or a little older (later developer), this is the right time. She'll leave feeling informed, not overwhelmed.

The story behind Our Changing Bodies

Over two decades ago, I started leading mother-daughter puberty workshops with a simple belief: that girls do better when they hear the truth from someone they trust, surrounded by their friends and their moms. What I didn't expect was how much the moms would get out of it too.

It has been my honor to do this work. My primary objectives have always been the same: to give your daughter the information she needs to go through her puberty years with confidence, to enrich the mother-daughter relationship with open and honest conversations about the female experience, and to normalize daughters asking their moms questions they might not have known how to ask before. That connectedness, between every mother and daughter in the room, is what makes this experience so profound.
